“Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vasily Shpak said at the “”Microelectronics-2022″” forum in Rosa Khutor, Sochi that labeling of radio-electronic products will be able to guarantee their compliance with declared technical characteristics and assembly quality.
“”The issue of labeling has actually become overripe, because there can be many aspects to it. Firstly, protecting honest manufacturers from dishonest competition. If the product is in the registry, then the unit of product that is declared in the registry corresponds to its composition and list of technological operations. Secondly, ensuring that non-Russian goods are not sold under the label of Russian goods during tenders, procurement, and so on. Thirdly, that the product is really assembled and corresponds to the technological cycle, the technological process by which it is produced,”” said Shpak.
According to the deputy minister, lighting products will be the first to participate in the labeling experiment. He explained that it is one of the few segments where almost the entire technological chain is produced within the country.
The deputy minister also noted that there are many manufacturers in the country. According to him, almost all of them state that they are interested in protecting their products from unfair competition with foreign manufacturers in the process of municipal and state procurement.
On September 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade put forward a position on conducting an experiment with means of identifying individual types of radio-electronic products for public discussion. As TASS reported, the initiative will be launched in the near future. “”According to the project, the planned end date of the experiment on labeling radio-electronic products is February 29, 2024,”” said the Center for the Development of Promising Technologies (CRPT), the operator of labeling”
