The export of agricultural products from Russia to Saudi Arabia in 2022 increased by almost 50%, approaching 1 billion dollars, according to the Russian Ambassador in Riyadh. He noted that this was due in part to the growing interest of Saudi partners in the supply of products from the Russian agro-industrial complex.

“The ambassador reminded that in October 2022, the Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev visited the Kingdom, timed to coincide with the largest regional agricultural exhibition – Saudi Agriculture 2022.

“”As a result of the visit, important agreements were reached on further promoting Russian agricultural products to the local market,”” Kozlov added.

He emphasized that Moscow considers cooperation with Riyadh in the agricultural direction as one of the driving forces for the development of the entire complex of Russian-Saudi trade and economic relations.
